Cooking with Sylvia M.

I was raised in Mexico and followed my aunt to the markets everyday. I watched her feel , taste and smell. I didn't know then what she was doing, but it stayed with me. Once in the states, my Mom had her different places to go for the things she needed to cook with and she was a great cook. I grew up in an ethnic neighborhood and learned to differentiate smells. My first career (or life) was in the corporate world, there I ate some of the finest foods, got to travel alot and ate my way thru wherever I was. At 36 I changed careers (2nd life), to become a chef, my true calling. I Love food and it shows in my cooking. Even when I made in bulk for our clients, it always came back to me, "Your food is made with love".
