Every student works at a different pace, so I like to create a study plan unique to each student that will provide the best results. I like to challenge the students and emphasize critical thinking.
It's not enough to simply tell the students what's correct or not, but to help them understand why.
From beginning to advanced students, we will work on proper technique, musicality, and efficient practicing.
I want to show students and parents the joy behind music, but there are no shortcuts, motivation is a must!

I took my first lesson with Stephanie last Saturday. It was very fruitful. I am a beginner, but everything in her class was very clear. She made things easy to understand and answered every question that I had.
Stephanie stepped in at the last minute to help with a wedding music performance. She was amazing and incredibly patient. The pieces came together and the wedding was a great success. Stephanie was brilliant working with young, very nervous, children!
I've now had my second class with Stephanie. She is an excellent teacher and has taught me more in two lessons than I ever learned with my first teacher.
I'm very pleased.
Wonderful teacher wonderful person!
Stephanie is teaching cello to my 6 year old daughter.
She has great teaching abilities, wonderful attitude, and great professionalism! My daughter loves her and the lessons as Stephanie always makes it challenging yet rewarding and full of positive encouragement.
I would definately recommend Stephanie to anyone who is interested in learning!
Parent of a practicing Teen
Stephanie has been working with my daughter who has never taken lessons before. She is always on time, calm and attentive. Having similar musical interest in music is key when working with teenagers, it gives them a sense of connection with their teacher. I would highley recommend stephanie!!
Stephanie is fantastic! I drive an hour for lessons and it's definitely worth it. She is more than experienced enough to adapt to the student's needs and guide them forward in the right direction. Her relaxed communication style is calming, refreshing, and encouraging.
Stephanie is an excellent instructor. My daughter loves taking violin lessons with her. She is very patient and professional.
