Hello! My name is Seong, a Masters student at Temple University in Philadelphia. I hold a BM in composition and Guitar from Indiana University in Bloomington, studying Guitar with the Argentine maestro Ernesto Bitetti. I specialize in Classical spanish method of Guitar playing, and I also have an interest in Cuban, Argentine and Brazilian music (Bossa). Classical Spanish method and the fingerpicking method presents many possibilities, as because they are not limited to a few chords in a chord chart. Classical/Fingerpicking guitarists can strum chords as well, but Guitarist who only strum would not be able to fingerpick very well. Preferably, students should have a Classical guitar with nylon strings, but it would be okay if you have folk guitar with steel strings *** Specialties *** I teach classical guitar, all levels, and basics of Bossa nova.
