- Teaches students:
- Ages 3+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
I am a recent graduate of Cornell University where I graduated cum laude with a degree in Music and English. I began violin at the age of four and have loved performing and teaching ever since. I was the concertmaster and principal second violin in the Cornell Symphony and studied for four years under Dr. Ariana Kim.
I have been teaching privately for 4 years and this past summer I worked at Eastport Strings in writing a curriculum for the developing Paper Orchestra Program. I co-taught lessons, aided the director in the Strings Intensive summer program and taught general music and beginning instrument skills to young children. This experience affirmed for me my passion for teaching and music education.
I am quite friendly and have a "gentle and caring way with kids". My love for the violin is central to my life and I look forward to sharing it with you!
