in Boston, Sahil hosts the Friday night jam sessions at Wally's Jazz Cafe' - a historical jazz venue - est. 1947.
He is also the Principal Bassist of the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra; the Berklee-Boston Conservatory Recording Orchestra; and the Terence Blanchard Jazz Composition Orchestra; He is also on the bass section for the Neopolitan Orchestra - and has previously performed with the Metrowest Symphony Orchestra - as well as the Berklee Musical Theatre Orchestra.
He has studied under various teachers including Susan Hagen (BSO/BSO pops), Ron Mahdi & Bruce Gertz - and has been a part of ensembles under the directorship of Neal Smith (Cyrus Chestnut), Lin Biviano (Buddy Rich), Jackson Schultz, John Pierce & Jon Hazilla.
