Since graduating from the University of Northern Colorado, one of the top 5 jazz school in the nation, I have found steady work in various fields. I have played on Carnival Cruise Lines for the last three years while also playing with the top players in Seattle and making my own debut record soon to come out. Since moving to Brooklyn I have landed the drum chair in three separate working bands and have begun to gig as a leader as well. I have played with several international recording artists that span genres such as blues, rock and jazz.
Our lessons will be 100% student centered. You will not be apart of a cookie cutter technique of teaching. You first lesson, we will talk about what you as the musician want to be able to do and we will work up to it using all the tools at our disposal. Along the way, we will go over music theory so you can hear the music correctly, technique so you can play the music correctly, and history so you can see the music correctly. My lessons are about you. I will teach you to teach yourself so you can get even more out of our short time together. You will not be lied to for a paycheck. You will get the truth because that is what you pay for.
You will improve under my teaching and we will grow together!
