    I have been teaching percussion and general music for over twelve years. I started teaching entire drum lines at various band camps when I was seventeen years old. I have experience performing in competitive indoor marching as well as marching band, jazz band, percussion ensemble, wind ensemble and chamber music. My instruction is focused on establishing a strong command of the basics and using common music tools to improve learning potential.

    I really enjoy teaching music, especially percussion. It can take a lot of focus to be the heartbeat of the band but it sure does pay off when everything comes together.
