I'm a seasoned bass player who spent five years actively gigging, recording, and writing music with various bands while completing a Bachelors degree in Commercial Music with an emphasis in Electric Bass performance. Now I enjoy using my education and experience to help other bass players develop their skills. I also developed a music education program at a NYC non-profit organization. Teaching music is my great delight!

I am aptly prepared to coach bass players in just about any style of music, including Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Funk, Fusion, Soul, R&B, Pop, and even Solo Bass playing!

I believe music is fascinating and fun, and that's how I teach it.

Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, I am here to help you reach the next level. Let's get started!

I would highly recommend Ryan Haines as a music teacher. As an instructor, Ryan is caring and competent. He draws from a wealth of professional and experiential knowledge, and he is very personable with each student. Ryan helped me outline my specific goals, develop strategies to overcome my challenges, and stretch my understanding and appreciation of music as a whole. I benefited significantly from Ryan's instruction, and I believe you will as well!
