You want to learn to play the piano? Then, Ruth is the one you want! I’ve never played the piano before now and Ruth has been there with me, patiently teaching me and guiding me. Now, I can play tunes I even recognize and it’s a lot of fun! I think you’re gonna like her.

I am a 61 year old retired teacher, and I have been been taking weekly lessons with Ruth for the past 8 months as a beginner student. She is an excellent teacher showing lots of patience and encouragement. She makes learning the piano a fun and challenging experience. Together we set weekly goals for my playing that keep me progressing and improving at a steady rate. I would highly recommend Ruth for both children and adults.

Ruth is an awesome instructor. She is very patient and has a unique way of making the lessons fun and relaxed. I am 61 years old and revisiting the piano after not playing for 45 years. Ruth has made the lessons very productive. Each week I feel like I've really progressed! Yea!!

Ruth has been wonderful! She is gentle with kids, kind, and very knowledgeable. I am so happy to have found her for my son to take lessons from.

Ruth is so patient with my 7 year old son! He has fun and is learning a lot!

Ruth was patient and kind, but also managed to teach my son something new in just half an hour.

We love Ruth. My daughter is learning and we are really happy with the lessons. We would recommend Ruth and think she is a wonderful teacher.

Ruth is wonderful. She is very flexible in making sure we get our scheduled lesson. She is alway so patient and kind to my son. My son is loving piano and it makes us so happy! It all has to do with the instructor, for sure!

We find Ruth to be knowledgeable, approachable, flexible, and friendly. While she is far gentler than the piano teacher I grew up with, for the right student I think this would be an advantage.

Ruth was so patient with me! Can't wait to keep learning!

Ruth is a fabulous teacher and very patient with my two young children.

Shortly after my 37th birthday, I decided I wanted to learn to play piano. Although I hadn't touched a musical instrument in over 20 years and forgotten a vast majority of what I had learned as a child, Ruth was there to coach me through the process. She's incredibly knowledgeable about music, shown flexibility when I've had scheduling conflicts, and genuinely cares about my progress. She's been instrumental (pun intended!) in my musical journey and I can't say enough great things about her. Thank you, Ruth!

Ruth is an amazing teacher. She is patient and has an excellent grasp on music theory, something that was lacking when I took lessons as a child and even when I was in band through high school. She goes at your pace and caters lessons to your needs. I've learned so much from her, thank you Ruth!

Ruth was so wonderful with the kids! We are so excited for our next lesson and lessons to come!

Great first lesson, thanks!

Ruth and my daughter are a perfect fit. She is very excited to continue taking lesson with Ruth.

I started taking online piano lessons with Ruth and learned that she is also a health coach. As a 43 year old mother, I was told by my doctor that I needed to get my weight down. Since I was so impressed with how patient and knowledgeable Ruth was about music and health, I decided to book health coaching sessions with her. Her program is very informative and educational. She understands that everyone's life is different and that not one diet or plan works for all. She tailored the program to accommodate my busy lifestyle and I am happy to report that I have lost 20lbs since we started earlier this year! Now, thanks to Ruth, I am skinnier and can play a musical instrument!

My daughter has been taking lessons with Ruth for over 2 years and she loves it! Ruth is very open to working on songs she likes. Not only does she learn to read the music, but really seems to understand the theory behind the music. I highly recommend Ruth. She is an exceptional teacher!

I am a piano student in my late 50's and have been taking lessons for 2 1/2 years now. I begin taking lessons with Ruth a little over a year ago and not only has my playing skilled increased significantly, but also my understanding of music in general. Ruth is very knowledgeable and an extremely patient person when it comes to teaching. I highly recommend her to anyone of any age or skill level.

Ruth is great with our 5 year old twins. The are excited for the lessons.

First lesson with Ruth was great! 10 year old enjoyed his lesson

Great first lesson my daughter is very excited!

I have been with Ruth for about 14 months. As a beginner, and an adult, I came into our lessons with a few concerns: Can I actually learn to play an instrument in my late 20s? Will I be able to keep up? Will I be stuck playing childish songs for the first few years? Fortunately Ruth was able to put these worries to rest. Not only is she patient and comforting, working with me at my own pace, she is great at breaking down theory and technique in a way that is easy for anyone at any age to understand. And the book that she has me using is filled with a large collection of songs specifically chosen for adult students; it's great!
Ruth has been nothing but a blessing; I enjoy our lessons thoroughly and I look forward to them every week.

Ruth is a very good Piano Teacher. I've worked with her for years and notice how she motivates her student to do there best.
Ruth is a phenomenal instructor! She's been teaching my son piano since he was four years old and it has been a wonderful experience!

Great teacher, very knowledgeable, my daughter loves her piano lessons and is improving greatly! I certainly recommend her!

I've been taking lessons from Ruth for almost a year. I have improved more with her than other instructors. She has been good at teaching me how to practice better and consequently enjoying playing more. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Ruth.

Ruth is one of the most talented instructors I have ever had the privilege to learn under. As a young adult, I have been through a handful of classical piano teachers, and it's easy to say that Ruth is the best. If your want a musical instructor who is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also patient and kind, then Ruth is your person!
