Guitar with Robin P.

I'm a professional musician, songwriter, and singer. I play guitar in 3 bands in NYC, and I occasionally sit in with other bands and artists, too. I have toured and played shows in 11 countries all over the world. I have been teaching guitar for more than 15 years. I have also worked in theater as a musician and band leader. I have planned and organized numerous music workshops and band classes for children and adults of various skill levels. I have solid knowledge in (western) popular music, and I am comfortable teaching many different styles of guitar, including various subgenres of pop/rock: folk, blues, funk, country, bluegrass, punk rock, indie, alternative, metal, and more. I like to teach students their favorite songs, but also help them gain a deeper understanding of music theory through analyzing song structures, chords, scales, arpeggios, etc. I can also help you develop and record your own musical ideas (I use Ableton Live and Logic Pro in my home studio).
