    About Roberto C.

Started my studio in Virginia while getting my bachelor’s degree from George Mason University. Then moved to Chicago where I acquired my Masters from Northwestern University. During my tenure in the Midwest I kept a small studio in order to pursue my career ambitions. Getting my degree and post running an insurance agency. My professional full time job has taken me away from Chicago to here San Diego now Managing Sales in the area but my passion for music still hasn’t gone away. Since my degree I became an Army Band reservist where I serve my country once a month and continue to play the saxophone professional for our nation. During my studies I studied with Dr. Frederick Hemke during my tenure in Chicago for my master’s degree. Dr. Timothy Roberts, Dr. Joe Ecker, Mr. Dale Underwood, Mr. Rick Parrell, and others during my tenure at George Mason and hometown Fairfax, VA. All shaping my ability to understand and play the saxophone at a professional level. During my years of teaching I've always been able to listen and accomplish my student’s individual goals. In Chicago all my students were top of their class and favorite amongst their teachers. All of my students aspired to be principal players in theirs schools and/or make an honor band and I'm proud to say I've always been able to assist them.
