I will provide a foundation for years to come as your journey to learn classical Spanish guitar begins! I have played classical guitar (Spanish guitar) for 14 years. My teachers have included the great Douglas Niedt, Joseph Armetta, John Svoboda and briefly Beau Bledsoe. I attended the UMKC Conservatory of Music for three years as a Performance Major. And I have a thorough understanding of the fundamentals to correct classical guitar technique. Classical Guitar is a beautiful instrument and is also a great way to learn electric, acoustic guitar and bass guitar as your fingers will have the dexterity, speed and agility needed to learn any type of pluckable instrument. I am kind and patient with my students. And follow their song interests as well as implementing fun exercises to broaden their ability. No question is a "stupid" question with me and I take all student questions and insights with a humility to the wonders of the guitar.
