    I absolutely love teaching, and can't wait to help you develop you voice! I strive to help each student feel comfortable, no matter what level they are at. I also work on performance, so you can feel comfortable performing in front of others. I started my training in vocal performance at the age of 8, and have been trained in classical, opera, and musical theater in both legit and belt/mix. Some of my favorite credits include La Carlotta (Phantom of the Opera), Eliza (My Fair Lady), Mrs. Potts and The Wardrobe (Beauty and the Beast), The Queen of the Night (The Magic Flute), and Fiordiligi (Cosi Fan Tutte). I own my own private vocal studio in Lehi, Utah. I worked as a music director for ACT Performing Arts Academy from 2019-2020. I have music directed The Lion King, Newsies, Seussical and West Side Story with Alpine Community Theater. I also have music directed Lucky Stiff and Pippin with Lamplight Theatre Company. I absolutely love singing and performing myself, and I am excited to help you reach your musical potential.

    Mikayla is great at finding techniques that are visual to help you learn how to have better singing techniques. She is really helpful in building your confidence in singing. She has a lot of experience and it really is helpful. She is very understanding and patient. I highly recommend her for anyone that needs help with their singing.

    Mikayla has been an amazing instructor in every sense of the word. Patient, encouraging, kind, flexible, and fun! Her incredible knowledge and background shine through in every lesson. I don’t know how but in every single lesson she teaches me something new! As an adult, starting lessons can be daunting and a little embarrassing but not with Mikayla. Every time I leave I’m so happy with my progress and excited about my growth. 5 stars for sure!!

    I have been working with this instructor for about a year! She really takes the time to understand what I’m working on and how to approve! She does all types of singing! What makes me happy is that she anatomically knows what she’s talking about and really helps form my voice into what I want and need it to be!
