    Violinist Mengjiao Li received her Master degree at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University with awarded full scholarship. Mengjiao was the second prize winner of the Mozart International Violin Competition in 2006. She won the Chamber Music Competition in Meadowmount Music Festival. In addition, Mengjiao was also awarded the first prize of the Concerto Competition of the University of Delaware (UD) in her freshman year. As a soloist, Mengjiao has performed in various concert halls such as the Carnegie Hall, Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Friedberg Hall, China National Centre for the Performing Arts, Forbidden City Concert Hall and Goldsail Concert Hall; Performing with distinguished musicians such as Leonard Slatkin, Marin Alsop, Robert Spano, Sarah Chang, Joshua bell, Janine Jansen and others. Mengjiao has also solo performed with orchestras including the Peabody Conductor Orchestra, UD Symphony Orchestra and China Youth Symphony. In 2012, She was invited to perform as a soloist by many top-rated violin programs in US. As a sectional orchestral player, she has been playing in orchestras for more than 14 years, including Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Peabody Symphony Orchestra, Peabody Conductor Orchestra, New World Symphony, Symphony No.1, UD Symphony Orchestra, Academy Orchestra (AACA) of the Aspen Music Festival, and National Music Symphony Orchestra. Mengjiao has served as the assistant concertmaster for Peabody Symphony Orchestra and also served as the concertmaster for UD Symphony Orchestra, National Music Symphony Orchestra and Youth Symphony in China for 3 years. Mengjiao has been featured in a number of violin educational video recordings professionally released in China. Mengjiao started teaching since 2006. In the meantime, many of her students have achieved their goals and admitted to their dream school. Mengjiao has been a member of the violin faculty at the Violin Paradise music school since 2008. In 2016 - 2017, Mengjiao was invited in two consecutive years as a guest violin faculty to give lessons for the “Little Master” of the Master Players Festival and School (MPF) in America.
