Violinist Mengjiao is currently a Master student of Prof. Herbert Greenberg in the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, where she awarded full scholarship. Majoring in violin performance. Prior to joining the Peabody Conservatory, Mengjiao received her Bachelor degree at the Department of Music at the University of Delaware. In her college life, Mengjiao was awarded the highest undergraduate scholarship (tuition waiver plus full living stipend for four years). Prior to study in the United States, Mengjiao studied at the Middle School Affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music, which is the top ranked violin program in China. Mengjiao was admitted with scholarship after winning the first place in CCOM's national audition. Mengjiao was the second prizewinner of the Mozart International Violin Competition. She won the Chamber Music Competition in Meadowmount Music Festival. She also won the Concerto Competition of the University of Delaware in her freshman year.
