I have a 12 step approach to good singing, based upon solid vocal technique. I use Sight Singing and Music Theory books, as well as flash cards for younger students. In this way even beginners can learn the fundamentals of music through singing. After a few months of lessons a singer who is practicing will begin to feel more freedom in the voice, in strength as well as in range. I have studios in both Long Beach and Dan Point, California. *** Studio Equipment *** Home-lessons will be taught in her large living room with a baby grand with a mirror across from the piano Studio-Has an upright piano set up in the living room *** Specialties *** I emphasize healthy singing and good production of tone in all genres, including pop, musical theater, and classical. I also introduce and, or further the students knowledge of music theory and sight reading of music.
