Using phonetic tools and charts, I help students achieve a more natural American English pronunciation tailored to individual strengths and weaknesses. I work with the student's base language as a point of comparison and help in all aspects of the English from basic sound structures to more complicated intonation in different types of sentences.

I've been teaching accent reduction lessons for about 6 years now, and have seen many people of all different backgrounds improve.

Matthew is a wonderful teacher due to his ability to relate the material to your own experiences and understandings. He's very skilled at recognizing students' areas of difficulty and addressing them with ease. He's also passionate about what he does and his students walk away with this same passion for learning! Highly recommended!
