    About Mark L.

My students discover joyful music-making through the application of quality vocal training and technique. Via productive evaluation, and support and encouragement, I will help you to achieve your best voice. Whether pursuing a professional career in classical voice or music theater, or simply seeking to increase your own satisfaction with your singing, I am eager to help you achieve your goals. Student repertoire ranges from legit and contemporary music theater, to pop, jazz, and opera. Lessons focus on breath energy and release, resonance, vowel tuning, effective chest/head voice register blending, movement and body release exercises, performance anxiety management, and musical expression. I hold a degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from The Boston Conservatory, where I also previously taught Voice through the conservatory's Vocal Arts Extension Program. I am currently voice faculty at the South Shore Conservatory as well as at The French Cultural Center of Boston.
