About Lucciana C.
Hello!
My name is Lucciana (Loo-Chee-Ah-Nah...I was named after Italian opera legend Luciano Pavarotti).
Background: I began formally studying music at age six. I spent my childhood and teen years participating in choir, orchestra, private instrument lessons (piano, voice, violin, Dobro), musical theater and I also played in local bands with musicians much older than I was at the time.
I became a music teacher for the first time at a small music store in 2009. I absolutely fell in love with sharing the skills and techniques that had helped me become a lifelong musician and I have been teaching ever since.
Instrument Lessons: My main instrument is the Dobro slide guitar. It is a very unique instrument that I love to share with people. I have equivalent experience with piano and voice instruction. I also teach guitar and ukulele.
Other Types of Lessons: I have run numerous songwriting workshops for all ages and I do one-on-one song coaching as well. I've been a professional songwriter for over a decade, and I love helping people refine and enhance their writing craft. We are all writers deep down! I will help you unlock your inner voice and express yourself using the power of music.
Summary: I have extensive experience working with a variety of age groups and special interest students. My areas of expertise range from young children (0-5) and adult beginners to live performance coaching for future professionals, songwriting coaching/feedback, and ear training.
Most importantly, I am passionate about teaching music in a way that leaves each student connected to the joy of creative play. No matter what age, skill level, or instrument, I fully believe that music meets you where you are and enriches your life in exceptional ways. I will work with you on what you wish to learn, incorporating skill, music theory, dexterity, technique, improv and repertoire into your curriculum in a way that leaves both of us inspired at the end of each lesson. I look forward to meeting and working with you!

So incredibly sweet! My 9 year old loves her!

I was a bit nervous with my first lesson but Lucciana's bubbly personality put me at ease. I like her teaching style because she actually asked me for what I wanted to get out of the lessons that I am taking, and that is great!, She is gearing the lessons to my benefits that would allow me learn the things I really want to learn. We started out with the principles, which is something I want. I believe that having the principle basic of music would benefit me in the long run and allow me to learn how to play my ukulele and learn how to play many of the songs I enjoy.

Lucciana is an amazing teacher! I have been taking voice lessons and songwriting instruction with her for almost a year. She is enthusiastic in her approach and gives feedback that is thoughtful and constructive. She has guided me through writing and singing 2 songs while working on my third. I am incredibly grateful for all that she has done!

Luciano is a very good musician and an even better teacher. She is patient and proficient with the dobro. I look forward to our weekly lessons with great enthusiasm. Thankyou!

Lucciana was excellent with my son. My son is 9yrs old and Lucciana knew exactly how to talk to him and how to teach him. She is perceptive and creative, excellent with children!!!
Seth said in his own words, ‘I love her!’ I think that says it all! We are excited to take advantage of all her talents, songwriting, composing, ukulele and guitar!

Lucciana was kind & professional. She was also fun, super energized and extremely positive in her approach to teaching. Overall, my first accoustic Guitar lesson could not have gone better. I can’t wait for the next one!!!

Another great lsson for my 10 year old! Lucciana is awesome. She is always patient , gives lots of praise when appropriate, and makes my daughter feel proud of her achievements even though she is a beginner.

Lucciana is lots of fun and has a great rappor with children. We had one lesson so far and will sign up for more.

Great instructor, glad I took the lessons.

Fantastic! My daughter is in love!

Lucciana's incredible energy and ability to connect with children in an instant is the first thing that I experienced upon meeting her. Underneath her warm, welcoming exterior are layers upon layers of musical talent and wisdom that make for a top notch teacher/collaborator. Lucciana truly is the best of the best. Los Angeles is at a loss without her!!!

Lucciana is one of the most inspiring people I've ever worked with. She makes everyone feel like they have something valid to offer, and her positivity is the perfect ingredient for fostering creativity.

Lucciana's positive energy is authentic and real! My daughters studied music with her for years. She was always punctual, respectful, considerate, and careful. Her vivacious joy of living is contagious! The most important things she shared with my children was her positive energy and confidence. By modeling these qualities, she teaches them. My youngest daughter has special needs, and Lucciana intuitively adapted to her special needs far better than most therapists. Highly recommend! She taught piano, ukulele, singing, and performance.

Lucciana truly cares about your performance. She's warm and kind and can provide specific feedback in a way that is inspiring. She's also incredibly funny!

Lucciana has helped me become more confident in performance on piano. Her contagious positive energy has helped me to take my piano playing to the next level by piano in front of a crowd. You'll be lucky to have her as a teacher!

Lucciana is a conscientious and enthusiastic person through and through.

Experienced, talented, nurturing, genuinely great.

Lucciana is truly one of a kind. Enthusiastic, empathic and creative as a teacher she generates she enthusiasm within her students and the results are curious passionate students with a deep love for music. 50 stars are not enough
