Warm and Meditative Cello Lessons with a Creative Teacher

I am an emotive cellist with two decades experience. I have toured internationally performing my original works including London, Paris, and Berlin. As a member of the Pierce Quartet I regularly arrange and perform music for weddings and other special occasions. I love sharing classical music with all levels of students. Lessons with me are calm, meditative experiences where we use peaceful techniques to enter into the heart of music.

Hello musicians! My name is Lenna and I am pleased to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2011 and have loved helping my students improve their tone, learn better sight reading skills, and become more relaxed in performance. I have toured the world as a singer songwriter and before that I studied chamber music for four years under the world famous Chiara Quartet. My favorite books about classical music are 'The Art of Practicing' and 'Just Play Naturally'. I'm a kind and patient person and my teaching style is focused on comfort and emotional vibrancy in performance. I look forward to guiding you through some wonderful musical experiences. I have just been double vaccinated in late march and I look forward to teaching in person more often this spring.

It's been a rough few years for everyone but it's also important to realize that the changes that came before us resulted in positive things, too. One of those things for us was discovering Lenna. My son Nicholas is passionate about his lessons with Lenna. She is an amazing teacher and has reached him in ways that no other in-person instructor has been able to do. We cannot thank you enough! Lenna is a great teacher. She focuses on the emotions/energy of the music you are learning (including your own), preventing burn out, and keeping practice engaging. Which is great for adult and child learners alike! When learning technical aspects of music, she explains it in a way that's easy to understand and is very encouraging.
