Hello, my name is Quinn. I offer cello lesson and violin lessons in-person and online. I began my cello studies at age of seven and won my first cello competition at ten. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Cello Performance at The Shanghai Conservatory of Music in China and Master’s Degree from University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) where I received a full scholarship. As an orchestra musician, I has served as the principal cello and cellist in a variety of orchestras such as the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Portland Columbia symphony, The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Portland Cello Project, Inland Valley Symphony, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra and Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra in China. As an active chamber musician, I've been invited and performed in several music festivals in the United States and Asia. In addition to music performance, I'm very experienced in teaching cello as well as working in musical administration. I'm a member of SAA (Suzuki Association of the Americas) and a certified teacher of SAA. I worked as a cello instructor at many music schools, including the Opus school of Music, Oregon Music Academy, Musicality Network, Music Academy of San Diego, Old Town Academy, Help You Achieve Academy. In the area of administration, I was the executive assistant of the Great Wall International Music Academy since 2012 and I worked as the administrative assistant in the Virtuoso Music Academy as well. I moved to Portland, Oregon on 2017 and joined the Portland Columbia symphony on 2019. Currently, I manages my home studio Musication LLC. at Bethany area and works as the executive assistant at the Bravo! International Music Academy since 2016.
