Piano with Kristy B.

My daughters started taking lessons with Kristy in 2016 when their first teacher moved, and she was excellent at helping each pick up where they left off and developing them both into talented young pianists. During their time with Kristy, my daughters were 10 to 13 and 8 to 11, respectively. Each started playing with their former teacher at six years old. Kristy has been the perfect teacher for both, helping them to grow as musicians while making it fun through occasional games and challenges. At recitals, we got to see first-hand how great she is with children who are just starting out, as well as with the more-developed, older children who have been playing longer. She has been such a wonderful teacher for our daughters and we are sad to see her go.

Kristy comes to our home once a week to teach two of my children piano. She has been nothing but punctual, patient and so kind! She not only teaches them how to play and perfect their pieces, but she teaches them the musical terminology as well. My 9 yr old son is not the most enthusiastic learner and Kristy goes above and beyond to make lessons fun (and did I mention how PATIENT she is?!). :) My 14 yr old daughter is very motivated and Kristy allowed her to choose a piece by the Piano Guys for her recital selection! I am amazed at how hard she is working to perfect such a difficult piece. Overall, I can say Kristy is the best instructor we have ever had. Across the board she gets all A's from us!
