Hi there! My name is Katie. I have been playing the piano for nearly 20 years -- I started playing in elementary school, and have been hooked ever since! I took piano lessons from 2nd grade all the way through my senior year of college. I began coursework towards a concentration in music, but was unfortunately unable to complete it due to credit requirements for my teaching and special education degree. While I haven't formally taught piano lessons, I have taught my younger cousins, several friends, and my mother. As an elementary school special education teacher, I am passionate about helping students learn and feel confident and excited about their learning. I look forward to building relationships with students and families. Making lessons personalized and meaningful for students is of high importance to me! I would love to get to know you and work together.
