Viola with Kathryn M.

I am a graduate of 11 years in the Community School of the Arts at Wheaton College's Suzuki Program for viola. I graduated from College of DuPage with an AGS, focused on choral music, acting, and creative writing and poetry. I’m passionate about all of the arts, and want to share music with our future generations! 

 Tutoring students while a junior in high school, I focused mainly on preparing students for IMEA, or supplementary sessions between their private lessons with another teacher, preparing for recitals and concerts. Now, join me for lessons whether you want to learn viola, or maybe even violin, if you are a beginner, wanting to learn the Suzuki method, intermediate, looking for a little extra edge, or even learn to compose your own music! I teach in your home, or mine! Convenience and comfort; it is all about community! My personal passion is improvisation, and playing viola for me is like writing a story or journal entry when you just cannot seem to find the written or spoken language to express it all!
