I am a professional trombonist. I graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Music, and from the Boston Conservatory with a Master of Music Students can expect to improve in the week to week in brass fundamentals: tone, musicality, time, and intonation. I encourage individual expression while exploring these basics, eventually helping create a student's unique sound. As a professional artist, I've played with a wide variety of ensembles. I am equally at home in the classical, jazz, and pop worlds. I love to mentor students who, like me, enjoy playing a variety of different styles and genres. My personal passion is contemporary music but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
