Hi, there! My name is Joy and I hope we get to work together! I've been singing for over 17 years, teaching private lessons since 2007 and I enjoy helping my students learn basic vocal technique, ear training, control, dynamics, and performance. Lessons are tailored individually based upon each student's style, level of skill and need. A little about me... Currently writing, acting, and studio recording for television (Greenleaf on OWN). Previously: I have toured, traveled, written, and sang with Grammy award winning artists, songwriters, and producers, and am a singer-songwriter myself. I sing all styles including Gospel, Jazz, Pop, R&B, Blues, Country, Hip Hop and Rock. I have trained at Berklee College of Music and also taught Contemporary Voice at an Arts School when I lived back in VA.* I'm an easy-going and lively person.
