Joshua M. earned degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory of music and Jordan College of Fine Arts. He composes and performs with several chamber music groups in New York City.
Bass lessons always begin with 5 minutes of scales, arpeggios or etudes to warm up. We will sometimes take a few minutes to analyze the music we perform, as that helps us understand how to perform it.
For beginners the focus is on technique, for more advanced students we tend to focus on how making good creative performance choices.
