Professional bassist/teacher with over 20 yrs of experience. Teachers/mentors include Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Steve Bailey, Gerald Veasley, Gary Willis. I have taught and staffed for Victor Wooten's Bass Nature Camp and Gerald Veasley's Bass Bootcamp for over 15 yrs.

For this first lesson things went very well and looking forward to more.
My stepson has had two lessons thus far and his feedback regarding Joe is all positive. He said Joe is laid back and he likes Joe's teaching style.
Joe is great instructor and a great bass player. He brings a lot of experience and wisdom to his lessons. you can learn music theory from and music instructor but Joe can teach all of that and the techniques that are specific to the bass. If you truly want to learn the bass, then look no further than Joe.
+ Read MoreJoe is easily relatable and thoroughly knowledgeable of the instrument. His instructions are clear and he's more than willing to clarify when they may not be. I think he and I are going to get along famously once we can get Skype to work!

Best word to describe Joe, is PROFESSIONAL! Joe has a great plan for me at my skill level, which is a beginner. My gut already is telling me that Joe can help me meet my goals but also take my playing further than I expect.
