I have been playing music for 17 years. I started off with the cello in 2000 and played that through high school graduation in 2008, so I have a very strong background in reading music and sight-reading. In 2003 I started playing music with my two brothers: My older on guitar, younger on drums, and I picked up the bass.  In 2008 I attended Berklee College Of Music on scholarship for bass.  I have plenty of experience playing with people and improvisation, and well versed in music theory.

Hi, there! My name is Jared Sullivan and I am looking forward to meeting you!  I am 26 years old I've been playing bass guitar for about 15 of those.  I started teaching privately in 2009 when I attended Berklee College of Music. I'm a extroverted and laid back person, and I try to teach my students based on what they want to learn and end up hopefully doing with the instrument.  This helps keep the students interested in making music, so practicing doesn't feel like a chore, leading to faster results.  I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
