I teach peace and balance. I help people of all ages to move their bodies and become more flexible, having a higher quality of life.

Exercise has always been a part of my life. When I started my health conscious journey, when I was in my teens, my regular routine included cardio and weight lifting-circuit training at the gym, four days a week. l was in good shape, but I noticed, that there was something missing from my life. My body was strong, physically but deep down inside, mentally, I was unable to focus. I really didn’t know how to relieve the pressure of my day to day life, my mind would race, I had a hard time sleeping, because of the continuous thoughts. Anxiety. Then, I discovered Yoga, in 2009.

The movement of Yoga incorporates poses (asanas), using your body’s weight, and focusing the mind, onto the specific muscle group. Yoga requires your entire body to work together, by contracting all supporting muscles (stabilizers), to become more grounded, focusing on lengthening and slowing the breath down. By holding the contraction, and going deeper in to the connective tissue, you will gain flexibility and strength.

I am so glad I had met Gloria when I did. I had been dealing with lower back pain for quite a while and after a few sessions she was able to focus on where the tension was built up in my muscles. she had me work on breathing techniques and a lot of different stretching poses to release all that tension in my back. I have to tell you even the work outs at the gym didn't help as much as the yoga does.
