George was born in Moscow, Russia. He studied in the Moscow Conservatory, under the tutelage of David Oistrakh. During his time at the conservatory, Mr. George also completed a second major in Piano and Composition studying with Dmitri Kabelevsky. In 1982, George immigrated to the US in order to accept the position of Acting Assistant Concertmaster with the Houston Symphony Orchestra. During his tenure with the Houston Symphony, 1982-1988, Mr. George also taught at Houston Baptist University and Music Clef School of Fin Art.. In 1989, George moved to Canada, accepting the position of Concertmaster and Assistant Conductor of Symphony Nova Scotia. During his ten concert seasons with the orchestra, Mr. George appeared in frequent broadcasts of his performances with the CBC Radio as well as concertizing around Canada. In 1999, George returned to the US where he performed as a violinist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Ballet as well as taught violin in Clark University’s Performing Art School in Worchester. He also gave private lessons to select students of whom many were accepted into the Greater Boston Youth Orchestra. From June, 04 to Oct. 2008. George was offered the position of Concertmaster in the Shanghai Philharmonic. George is a successful composer, producing numerous compositions and arrangements. Mr. George latest works include an opera, Rasputin, and two ballets commissioned by the Hong Kong Dance Company: The Goddess of Mercy and The Four Beauties. In 2010, he composed the new piece for 2010 Expo China Pavilion. During the time George lived in China, he was Violin Soloist in Shanghai, performing intensively around China and also is guest Profession in Shanghai Music Conservatory, guest conductor of Shanghai Conservatory Symphony Orchestra. And he has also successfully established the Music Studio in Shanghai teaching violin lovers in various levels. During years of teaching, Mr.George students made great accomplishment of their Violin study: 2nd price of Violin International Competition in Italy, accepted by Tokyo Music College, Walnut Hill School of Art, the Yehudi Menuhin School, New England Music Conservatory, accepted by Meadowmount School of Music Summer Camp In US by age of 11 (they usually only accept talented music student age 14 or above). Mr. M. has moved to San Diego in July 2014 and establishing his own music studio.
