Minami is an accomplished singer, songwriter, music instructor from She has taught 1000+ lessons to students of all age. She is especially passionate about early childhood education and work with children. She started a career as a musician and a voice teacher in Japan and had opportunities to share the stage with a pioneer of Japanese blues harp, Ryuichiro Senoh. Minami moved to Seattle pursuing her musical interests in 2009. She is currently playing in Charles Mack Band, The Highlife band, Charles Street Messengers. She also leads her own band, Minami and the Cyclophonics. They released their first EP " Sum of Us" in spring 2014. She went on Europe tour with the Highlife band in 2014 playing in 11 shows around France and Spain. Minami studied Popular Vocal with Andy Shaw, and Classical Vocal with Nancy Dolacky. She also received piano instruction for 8 years and developed perfect pitch as a child. Minami is also available to teach in Japanese.
