Some highlights of my background include 15 years of playing experience and 2 years of teaching experience.
In addition, I am a 2 time record-holding World Champion Euphonium player with the Concord Blue Devils.
I walk the path of mastery with the piano.
I spread my inspiration for music with others to be a wellspring for their own craft.
I was born and raised in the Napa Valley. My mother was a piano teacher, and I can recall beginning my musical journey taking a few lessons from her, only to quickly push her away at the stubborn age of 8 and said, "I do this by self". 10 minute piano sessions would be sprinkled in between my races on Mario-Kart or jumping on the trampoline. Nowadays, music is exuded in my every thought and breath. Music runs deep within my blood as a 4th generation piano teacher.
Fast forward to today, I am just beginning to transition into my new home here in Costa Mesa, CA. I regularly continue my own education with lessons in composition, music theory, and piano online with YouTube Pianist Kyle Landry to build a play-style that blends classical and modern music.

Eric recently played our baby grand piano during a Christmas party, and he was a delightful addition to the festive atmosphere. He played for about 5 hours and skillfully performed a repertoire of holiday classics and a perfect mix of standard classics which added to the holiday flair. We look forward to asking Eric to entertain our guests at a future festive party!+ Read More
Eric was always very pleasant and respectful. He truly cares about his students. Our son was in his 9th year of lessons, so he was already pretty much established in his style, however, I looked at it as a mentor for him. They jammed together which was very positive in keeping his interest in music.
I definitely recommend Eric for children of all ages.
Eric is an amazing person, musician, and teacher. I feel extremely fortunate to have had him as my son’s piano teacher this past year. A quality that I love most about Eric is how he brings his own passion and enthusiasm for music to every lesson his does. My son (age 14) felt inspired after every lesson with him and although he has always loved music, it was not until we found Eric that he really began looking forward to his lessons every week. Eric is patient, encouraging, engaging, and very talented. He adapts his teaching style to the personal needs of each student regardless of their age and experience level. I loved that he worked with my son to find pieces that he would truly enjoy learning and playing. With Eric as a teacher, lessons are not only about how many minutes you practiced or pages you completed in a workbook – they are about how the music makes you feel, the enjoyment that comes with learning and playing and the reward you feel when you reach that next goal you set for yourself. I highly recommend Eric to anyone starting or continuing their musical journey. Eric does not just give lessons, he brings music into the heart of anyone he teaches and those who listen to him play.+ Read More
