Irish fiddle is a very niche genre on the violin. Irish fiddle has different technical elements like rolls, and percussive triplets. I happen to know how all of these techniques work together to create what is Irish fiddle. A lot of Irish fiddle also has to do with what methods you take towards making jigs and reels your own through various ornamentation techniques unique to Irish music.
