INTRO Hi! My name is Diana and I am a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher. I am also a doctor in training! I have experience teaching yoga at local studios, to my patients, and to individuals in their home. ABOUT MY CLASSES I teach a variety of yoga classes. I like to focus on achieving good breath, alignment, and relaxation with every class. I pay close attention to students' individual postures and how they can adjust their bodies to make the most of their practice. I teach anything from beginners yoga to advanced yoga as well as special needs in terms of limited physical abilities. For example, I teach beginners looking for tips on proper alignment and how to do the basic poses, slowly moving towards integrating poses into a vinyasa flow. I also teach more physically demanding classes at a faster pace to increase strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. I teach special classes focusing on arm balancing, hip opening, and inversions. I teach safe and thoughtful classes for specific health conditions such as chair yoga for seniors, yoga in pregnancy, and yoga for back pain. Sign up for one of my classes and I'll look forward to working with you to find out what is best for you! MEDICINE AND YOGA As a fourth year medical student I depend on the physical and mental space that yoga offers to recharge and center myself before returning to the hospital. I believe that yoga can help treat and prevent illness and bring joy to people's lives. I am working towards combining medicine and yoga to bring wholesome healing and well-being to my community.

Diana was truly a pleasure to work with! She met me where I was at, really matching her program to my beginner skill level. She had a wonderful, calming presence, that got me in the right mind-set to really explore what my body was capable of! Her gentle encouragement gave me confidence to try new moves without feeling overwhelmed. The program really flowed, and I left class feeling energized and refreshed. Can't wait for another session!

I was a first timer and Diana made it easy, talking me through each move (correcting any slight errors without making me feel stupid) and modifying the poses when necessary. With those I found easy she would challenge me with an advanced move. She is personable, knowledgeable, and will soon be your favorite teacher! She made me into a repeat customer and even peaked my interest in other forms of yoga; hot yoga and acro yoga.
