My style of meditation relaxes the entire human system.
 
1. First, we relax the physical body with a full body mindfulness practice. This will release surface tension and accumulated stress from the body. 
 
2. Secondly, we relax the inner body using several breathing techniques (based on the needs of the individual). These are designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system which then enlivens an inner environment of peacefulness and contentment.
 
3. Finally, we guide the mind's awareness onto an object of meditation which acts as an anchor for the mind. With the mind anchored on this object, it will dance between activity and stillness. In the moments of stillness, you will experience great peace and relaxation.

4. After the practice, we review and answer any questions/concerns. Over time I can advance the practice based on the progress you are making.!

Hey guys! My name is David and I am meditation teacher. I've been practising and teaching meditation in Trinidad for over 7 years and has a lively private practice in Port of Spain, Trinidad where I teach individuals meditation one on one. 

Decided to it was a good idea to teach online! So here I am!

I was formally trained in S-VYASA Yoga University in Bangalore India and also participated in Harvard Medical School's & Cambridge Health Alliance’s Continued Education Conference “Meditation and Psychotherapy” in 2017.  

Locally, I also work with several local businesses, The University of the West Indies in offering mental wellness courses and workshops.

David's years of training helped to deliver a quality teaching experience about what meditation is, how to practice and integrate the principles behind meditation and of course, help in setting up a personal meditation routine. His  enthusiasm towards teaching greatly improved the sessions and the overall learning experience; He was patient, explained everything very simply and even went on to  elaborate on the instructions whenever I got confused.  The teaching sessions felt genuine and he was always ready to answer any and all of my questions (regardless of how ridiculous they were or how cumbersome I was in asking). If you're looking for a good teacher to teach you meditation, David is actually an excellent one and I definitely recommend him.
