I really enjoyed my first lesson with Dan. I'm a beginner, and Dan quickly and efficiently evaluated by technique and set clear goals for how to improve the fundamentals necessary to move forward, and gave me concise exercises to work on for next time. He also took many notes during our first lesson and seems to really consider each student's individual capabilities and goals. Highly recommended!+ Read More
Dan is really great for a total beginner, such as myself. I progressed a ton in just five lessons. Highly recommend him.
First lesson! Teacher was methodological: identified goals, assessed my voice, layed out a plan, and gave me homework with clear instructions. This is the way I like to work!
A great, pacient teacher. I've really enjoyed working with him.
I've been taking lessons with Dan for about a month and a half now and I gotta say, I don't think you'll find a better vocal teacher. He is very knowledgeable about how the voice works and has many years of coaching experience. He is great at giving direction and knows how to adjust to your learning style. He also takes notes throughout the lesson to track your progress, which I think helps a lot. Having started with pretty much zero vocal ability, I've definitely seen significant improvement in my voice. I highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of taking singing lessons!+ Read More
Dan is a great instructor and through his positive outlook, he leads you down the path to find your voice, I am very excited to continue this journey with him!
The first thing that struck us is how nice a person he is. Very kind, patient , friendly and obviously talented. He works with my 9 year old. We have been taking lessons from him for about a year and half now. Although he is our only teacher, we have been very happy with him and never felt the need to look further. He has the natural ability to work with children, encouraging them to have the self confidence. My daughter's confidence has improved by leaps and bounds. He recognizes area of improvement and works very hard to get push her to be better than she thinks she can be. I drive an hour for our lesson and I will continue to do so without second thoughts. He is truly an amazing person. highly recommend!!!+ Read More

Dan is an excellent teacher and a great guy. I've been working with him for about two months now and have seen noted improvements to both my vocal performance and songwriting. He is willing to work with you and help you learn in a way that is most conducive to your own style - for me, we work equally on vocal exercises and performance. Dan has helped me work on pitch, breath, vocal emotion, volume, and overall technique - highly recommended.+ Read More

I had such an excellent experience! I feel like I'm really finding my voice. Can't reccamend Dan enough.
Dan is a wonderful teacher! He helped me rediscover my singing voice after many years of not being involved with music. Dan is a supportive and encouraging teacher who creates a very comfortable environment. He works to develop range and proper breathing technique through vocal exercises, and also focuses on phrasing of songs and performance of musical material. I will always be thankful I found Dan. I'm now a confident singer (both lead and harmony parts) -- have recorded a cd and am even in a band!+ Read More
It has long been an unmet dream of mine to learn how to sing - but I was always scared to try- I only sang in the car and sounded pretty awful.
Finally as a middle aged adult I mustered my courage for lessons and called Dan Gardner. Not only has Dan taught me the basics ( and beyond) of proper vocal techniques he has helped me find my own voice.
He's a creative and passionate teacher and has made my lessons very personal; finding ways to uniquely guide me to my goals. He's taught me proper breathing and worked with me to stretch my vocal range. I've been taking lessons with Dan for well over a year. He keeps the lessons fresh and I always feel motivated and challenged.
Because of Dan I can sing and I can honestly say I like the sound of my voice. He's a gifted vocalist, an extraordinary teacher and a wonderful person. I recommend him highly.
Dan is an excellent teacher as well as a phenomenal singer. He is great at teaching technique as well as how to truly feel what you're singing. A perfectionist at heart, he will make sure you sound awesome. I would highly recommend him!
