Yoga with Claudia H.

My journey into yoga started out with just wanting to be able to touch my toes. I sat down on my mat in my first class in a room with about 40 other students, nervous as ever about all the crazy gymnastic like poses we'd have to do. Our teacher turned down the lights a bit, turned on some soft flute music, and asked us to take a deep breath. Then another. Then another. Slowly she guided us to move our bodies and focus on how each breath felt in each position. Eventually, breath by breath, I was able to touch my toes. When I approach yoga with students, I tailor it to you and always bring it back to the breath. Do you want to work out? Let's get it. You want to chill out, let's chill you out then.
