Advance your Clarinet Skills with Advanced Lessons from a Master

I received my Doctorate in clarinet performance from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in May 2020. During my doctoral program, I was the teaching assistant in clarinet for three years. Previously, in May 2016, I graduated from California State University with a Master in Music in clarinet performance under the teaching of Hakan Rosengren, international soloist. Finally, prior to my doctorate studies, I studied with Boris Allakhverdyan, principal clarinetist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. I currently teach at the LA Philharmonic Youth Orchestra YOLA and at the French Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles. I am also a Buffet Crampon USA sponsored artist. I have the experience of teaching private lessons in France and America and I am seeking clarinet students of every level and age. I will focus my teaching on your needs and can help you improve technique, musicianship and sound production. I also can help you get ready for auditions and recitals.

Hello, my name is Claire and I am originally from Nice in the South of France. I moved to the United States in August 2010 to study music in an American university and graduated in May 2020 with a Doctorate in Musical Arts. I have been teaching on Takelessons since 2016 and I teach three subjects: Music, French, and English. MUSIC I have the experience of teaching private clarinet lessons since 2010, taught in many high schools in California and Florida, and was the Teaching Assistant in Clarinet at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami these past three years. I am currently the Woodwind instructor at the French Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles and the Teaching Artist in Clarinet with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Youth Orchestra YOLA. I am available to teach clarinet, saxophone, and flute students of every level and age. I have the experience teaching complete beginners as well as very high level musicians. I have taught on Takelessons over 50 students and have had students who have been taking lessons with me for over 4 years now. Some started as complete beginners and now can play high level pieces. FRENCH Originally from Nice, France, I was a French tutor at the universities I studied at for 9 years. I can help you learn French, get ready for exams and midterms or just do conversation if you are more advanced. I have the experience of teaching complete beginners too and students who speak very different languages such as Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more. ENGLISH In 2010, I moved to the United States to study music as an undergraduate. I received a 107/120 on the TOEFL ibt. Since 2016, after getting my master, I started teaching English as a second language. I have prepared dozen of students for the TOEFL ibt and have experience teaching ESL students as well. I can speak and write English as fluently as a native speaker and earned a bachelor, master and doctorate degree in the United States. I am really good with grammar and with my knowledge of French and Spanish, I can compare languages and make grammar much easier to understand for you. I am very passionate about teaching and have dedicated my life to it. I provide all the materials needed for the lessons for Music, French, and English so you will not need to buy anything. I cannot wait to be helping you reach your goal with these lessons!
