I recently received my Doctorate in instrumental performance at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Even though, at the university my focus was on clarinet performance, I also play saxophone and enjoy teaching saxophone lessons. I have the experience of teaching private lessons in France and America and I am seeking clarinet students of every level and age. I will focus my teaching on your needs and can help you improve technique, musicianship and sound production. I also can help you get ready for auditions and recitals.
About Claire G.

Hello, my name is Claire and I am originally from Nice in the South of France. I moved to the United States in August 2010 to study music at the University level and just graduated in May 2020 with a Doctorate in Music. On Takelessons, I teach both Music and French. I have the experience of teaching private clarinet lessons since 2010, taught in many high schools in California and Florida, and was the Teaching Assistant in Clarinet at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami these past three years. I am currently the Woodwind instructor at the French Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles. I am available to teach clarinet, saxophone, and flute students of every level and age. I have the experience teaching complete beginners as well as very high level musicians. I have taught on Takelessons over 50 students and have had students who have been taking lessons with me for over 4 years now. Some started as complete beginners and now can play high level pieces. Also, as I am French, I was a French tutor at the universities I studied at for 9 years. I can help you learn French, get ready for exams and midterms or just do conversation if you are more advanced. I have the experience of teaching complete beginners too and students who speak very different languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more. I am very passionate about teaching and have dedicated my life to it. I cannot wait to be helping you reach your goal with these lessons!
