Oboe with Christina G.

Hello! I’m an oboist, English hornist, and educator in Atlanta, Georgia. I earned a Bachelor of Music Performance from Florida State University under Eric Ohlsson, and an Artist’s Diploma in Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory under Russ deLuna and Eugene Izotov. I am the Artist Affiliate for Oboe at Reinhardt University as well as Oglethorpe University. Additionally, since 2013, I’ve led a successful private studio composed of students of all ages from across the country. In addition to my career in education, I’m also an active performer. I am the Principal Oboe for the Atlanta Opera, and prior to that appointment I served for five years as the Second Oboe & English Horn. I regularly perform with numerous orchestras in the southeast US including the Atlanta Symphony, Atlanta Ballet, Georgia Symphony, the Orlando Philharmonic, and the Atlanta Pops Orchestra.
