Lessons at The Woodshed are taught by veteran guitarist and bassist Chase C. With over a decade of experience he brings his vast musical knowledge and unique style into each lesson. This enables students to learn the fundamentals of music theory and guitar technique in an enjoyable and comfortable environment at their own pace. Chase has been privately instructing students for 7 years. He began taking lessons at the age of 12 with Geoff Fanin at Yarbrough’s music, then continued his musical education throughout his high school years with lessons from prominent Memphis area guitarists before moving on to the Rudy E. Scheidt School of Music at the University of Memphis. Lessons at The Woodshed are tailored to each individual student’s needs and experience levels. Students have an active role in the material covered in the lessons, and while the foundations of music are taught to every student, each student will choose the genre and style that they wish to focus on.
