    I have been playing violin for 25 of my 30 years, and teaching for the past 10! Within your first few lessons, I'll get a good idea of where you're at, and we'll decide what goals we want to achieve together.

    Hi everyone! My name is Charley and I have been playing the violin for 25 years. I have played in many orchestras around the US including the Avanti Symphony in DC, New Texas Symphony Orchestra in Dallas and currently the New York Repertory Orchestra in Manhattan. I've placed several times at the Kiwanis music festival in Canada and won the Hendrix College Concerto Competition in 2015. Currently I also play in a string quartet that travels around New York City playing at weddings, receptions, work events, etc. Violin is my favorite instrument in the world, and I want to help you love it too! I have experience teaching children and adults alike - and a vast knowledge of repertoire for you to choose from. If you want to take violin super seriously, I can help you learn and improve quickly. If you just want to do it for fun, I'll take the pressure off and go at your pace. Let's make some music!

    Charley was fantastic! I had a private violin lesson in her home, which was clean and safe, and she was very professional. She took the time to learn a bit about my musical history and my personal goals, and tailored the lesson to exactly what I wanted to work on. After only an hour I noticed improvement! I look forward to my next lesson with her and highly recommend :-)
