I grew up Canada, and have since lived in Texas, Arkansas, Switzerland and DC. I've been playing the violin for 18 years. I was the Concert Master in my College Orchestra, and played Second Violin in a String Quartet.
In addition to violin, I write and perform my own music on both piano and guitar.
I work in Dallas now in a non-music industry, but continue to play violin in chamber groups and community orchestras.
I'm available to teach violin in 30 minute sessions or 1 hour sessions. My availability tends to change, so message me with specific times.
Our first meeting. Charley did a great job.
Charley expanded my knowledge of composers and classical music. She has a lot of musical experience that she translates easily to those less talented than she is.
Her passion for music is contagious.
Charley is a passionate musician and person with so much knowledge to share! I highly recommend her for any of your violin or song-writing needs!
Charlotte Ford was my son's first violin teacher in Dallas. She made the lessons fun, and we were astonished how quickly our boy was able to play! It was a sad day in our home when Charlotte told us she was moving to Washington. My son suggested we move to Washington too! Charley is a lovely young woman and an excellent teacher.
Good luck Charley!
She is such a great teacher! A great combo of fun and knowledge. I can't wait to return for my next lesson.
