Charles is an excellent teacher, able to follow along with my specific goals and find relevant material and songs to help me understand different musical concepts. We have worked on jazz, blues and general theory on both upright and bass guitar and my knowledge has improved greatly. I highly recommend taking lessons from him.

Charles is a very capable bassist with a breadth of knowledge in various playing styles. He is an accommodating teacher who is engaging and focuses on the interested of the student. On day one, he was able to diagnose the issues that were plaguing my technique and motivation.
