I love the violin! I have taught for a total of about 5 years. I was raised learning the Suzuki method, so much of my teaching is drawn from that; however, at this time I am not a certified Suzuki teacher. I have been playing the violin since I was four years old and took private lessons for about 17 years. I have been in numerous orchestras throughout high school and college and was in the Georgia Philharmonic (a community orchestra) this past year. I strongly believe that music is an important part of academic and overall development. I love helping students succeed in their goals and enjoy their experience with the violin!

Hi! My name is Charisse and I'm excited to meet you! I've been playing the violin since I was 4, and I love it. As a child, I was taught with the Suzuki method; however, I am not a certified Suzuki teacher. I received a bachelor's degree in music from Brigham Young University in 2011 and a master's degree in Linguistics from the same university in 2014. I was recently a member of the Georgia Philharmonic, a community orchestra. I have taught violin lessons for a total of about 5 years. I look forward to helping you reach your musical goals!
