If you have an opportunity to study harp with Catherine, jump at the chance and count yourself fortunate! I have taken lessons with Catherine for over 10 years and she has guided me from a relative newcomer to the harp all the way into my professional career (playing for symphonies, opera, ballet, concerts, etc..). Catherine shares her vast knowledge and beautiful musical artistry in the most patient, kind and nurturing way I can imagine. It's a joy and an inspiration to study with Catherine and I always eagerly look forward to any time spent working with her!

I have known Mrs Cathy for over 8 years. She has always been very understanding and you can see how much she loves the harp. Our lessons are productive and challenging, but Mrs Cathy still makes it fun! I look forward to our lessons and feel like I’m learning a lot.

Cathy is a gifted musician and an excellent teacher. For me, an adult student with a limited background in music, taking lessons with Cathy (both online and in person) has been the perfect fit. She is patient, makes lessons fun and interesting, understands my musical interests, and helps me find music that I enjoy playing. She has taught me not only technique but also some music theory, which has been very helpful. I am so pleased with my progress. Also, when I first started lessons, I had so many questions about caring for my harp. Cathy taught me how to tune my harp properly, transport it, and even change strings. She also taught me how to position myself properly when playing. Cathy is a wonderful resource for all things related to harps. I highly recommend her as a teacher.
