Viola with Brian T.

I have been playing violin and viola for the majority of my life. I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a major in Cognitive Science and a minor in Music Performance. Throughout my youth, I've been a part of multiple orchestra settings, including the California Youth Symphony, La Jolla Symphony, and the Stanford Philharmonic Orchestra. I have also traveled to multiple places all around the world to perform, including places like the Sydney Opera House in Australia and in multiple concert halls located in Japan and in Austria. As a graduate student at Georgia State University, I unfortunately do not have the time to participate in musical setting. However, I am looking to teach viola lessons on the side not only to continue my pursuit for music, but to also allow me the honor to teach my skills to beginning and intermediate students. I am looking to meet weekly with eager beginning and intermediate students to work collaboratively to discover new musical pieces and to work on bettering technique. From classical and romantic-era pieces to contemporary and soundtrack music, I am open to work with a wide variety of genres! I look forward to meeting new students and to form meaningful and musical relationships with you!
