I offer an approach to teaching that puts your needs first. Singing requires courage and skill-I can help you utilize your talent, tame your fears, and become a confident performer. As a vocal training specialist, my approach is technical, classically influenced, and focused on end results-a great performance must be alive and authentic. Technique is the essential foundation. However, a moving performance is made up of many elements combined: musicianship, poise, energy, commitment AND technique. I help you bring all of these elements together. My students sing rock, pop, R&B, opera, musical theater, jazz, country, are singer/songwriters, and more. As a voice teacher, I have worked with students of almost every age, genre, and skill level at the Music Institute of Chicago, Chicago State University, Loyola University Chicago and through my private studio. I hold degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance and I am an internationally recognized performer.
