Learn about yourself through your voice

I cater each lesson to the student- no two students will be on the same track and that's ok. Each person, just like each voice, is very unique! I don't see a purpose in forcing a student to learn a piece they don't like. We are here to make music so collaboration is a huge deal for me. I want us to collaborate and make beautiful art together to the best of our abilities! :) I've been teaching students how to sing for over 8 years and my students have gone on to win statewide competitions, get leads in shows professionally, and even get into the top schools of their dreams on full talent-based scholarships.. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to discover the foundation of your voice. We are going to play and make sounds and have fun! As time goes on you'll be able to start applying techniques and fundamentals to allow your voice to open up and be an instrument that you can trust and make art with. I specialize in classical and musical theater styles but teach all genres! I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
About Ariel A.

Hi there! My name is Ariel and I am super excited to meet you! A little bit about myself, I am an active performer for opera, musical theater, and crossover that performs in the U.S. and internationally. I have my Master's degree in Vocal Performance and graduated in 2018. When it comes to teaching, I've been teaching private voice since 2015 and have had the absolute joy and honor of joining several students on their vocal journeys. Being a musician, I teach several different avenues of music, but my primary is voice. Every voice is just like each person- unique and special in their own way! When it comes to the voice I am an advocate of catering to the singer and helping them on their own special journey feel confident and great about their voice! Each week, you will work towards a goal and over time we will see you bloom and blossom. I work with all ages, styles, and skill levels. At the end of the day, I want you to feel great about what you want from your voice! No matter what, at the end of the day, I want my students to have fun and find solace in their voice! Progress isn't linear just as life isn't linear and that is ok. I have a very optimistic teaching style with the philosophy that trying is how progress is made!
