Hi! My name is Anna and I have been living in Chicago since the of summer 2014. I completed my Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance degree and a minor in Performing Arts Management at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, and my Master of Music in Violin Performance degree at DePaul University. I enjoy teaching strings full time at St. Benedict Preparatory Academy, as well as maintaining an active freelance career and private studio. My teaching philosophy is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the student that will foster a love and appreciation for music first and foremost. I aim to give the student the technical tools they need to express themselves musically.
I teach grades 2-8 in group and private lessons.
This symphony is located in my hometown of Traverse City, MI.
I taught after school group violin classes at elementary schools, private lessons, and summer camp group lessons.
I wanted to write another review, and say how great a teacher Anna is! In just a month I can already play a few songs, and constantly learning new things. I definitely recommend her!
She was a wonderful teacher!! Very nice and teaches very well! She gives you things to work on at home so you can practice in between lessons. I 100% recommend her!
